Million-dollar NYC parking spot comes with condo attached

You, too, can enjoy a home in New York City’s Greenwich Village for around $1-million — provided you’re a car.

According to the folks at toptenrealestatedeals.com, that’s the asking price of a parking spot that is 3.657 metres wide, 7.01 metres long and 4.572 metres high, the first U.S. parking spot to crack the six-figure barrier.

Why mention height? In Gotham, the addition of a mechanical elevating device offers space for two, provided there’s enough vertical real estate available.

Like this parking space, there is a ballroom at the corner of Belmont and Sheridan in Chicago that was recently converted into a garage.....leaving the ballroom ceiling intact.
